When Music Became the Equation: A Divine Beginning (2001)

When Music Became the Equation: A Divine Beginning (2001)
Background: An Unexpected Call
Some moments in life are not planned.
They arrive… like a quiet answer to an unasked question.
It was the year 2001.
I received a call from an unknown number with a simple request:
■ “Can you come and sing Bhajans for a programme?”
For many, it might have been ordinary.
For me…
■ It felt like a lottery of the soul.
Because music was never just a passion -
■ It was my inner language.
The Event: Arya Samaj Vashi
It was the 20th Annual Function of Arya Samaj, Vashi, held on:
- 28th April 2001 (Evening)
- 29th April 2001 (Morning)
Later I came to know…
They were searching for a Bhajanopadeshak for two days.
And somehow - through unseen connections -
□ My name reached them.
That “somehow” still feels like divine mathematics.
The Arrival
At that time, I was teaching Mathematics at D’Silva High School, Bhayandar
and had just managed to own a mobile phone.
I reached Vashi early in the evening.
What I experienced there was unexpected…
□ I was welcomed like a celebrity.
That warmth, that respect -
was not for me alone…
□ It was for the energy and intention I carried.
A Meeting That Left a Mark
I was introduced to Acharya Pathak, the main speaker.
His style of speaking was unique.
He moved from:
- Simple → Complex
- Known → Unknown
- Question → Realization
He connected God with equations and variables.
At that time, I couldn’t fully understand it…
But something within me registered silently:
■ “Truth can be structured.”
The First Evening: Expression of the Soul
My Bhajan session was scheduled before his speech.
I was introduced as:
□ A Math teacher inclined towards spirituality
□ Someone whose students enjoyed learning deeply
I sang my own compositions:
- “Tu hai sachcha pita saare sansaar ka…”
- “Pal mein hoga tumhen Atmasaakshatkar…”
These were not just songs…
□ They were expressions of my inner world.
Something beautiful happened:
- The compere himself a teacher appreciated deeply
- Purohit of Arya Samaj Vashi, Shree Vijaypal Shastriji repeated the lines in his Pravachan
- The audience connected instantly
And later…
■ Acharya Shree Prabharanjan Pathak appreciated the flow:
Existence of God and “From zero to zero.”
That one line stayed with me.
The Second Morning: Direction and Action
The next morning was not just about singing…
□ It was about guiding through music.
I sang two Bhajans - different in words, but deeply connected:
Bhajan 1: Direction of Life
“ईश्वर की ओर तू बढ़ता चला जा…”
(Keep moving towards the Divine)
“वही मूल्यवान है… रटता चला जा …”
(Chant and live the values that truly matter)
□ This Bhajan was about direction.
● Not speed.
● Not comparison.
Just movement… towards something higher.
Bhajan 2: Action of Life
“शुभ कर्म करते जाना, ओ जाने वाले…”
(Keep doing good deeds before your journey ends)
That moment…
■ There was pin-drop silence.
Not because people stopped hearing…
But because they started feeling.
People gathered afterwards,
many writing the Bhajan in their diaries.
It felt like a blessing…
■ As if Maa Saraswati herself was present.
The Hidden Connection (Realized Years Later)
At that time, I was just singing.
Today, I understand…
□ I was unknowingly expressing a complete framework.
- First Bhajan → Where to go
- Second Bhajan → How to live while going
Life Equation
Right Direction + Right Action = Meaningful Life
- Moving towards Ishwar → Inner alignment
- Living values → Character formation
- Doing good deeds → Social contribution
■ That is:
Inner Math + Social Math = Life Math
The Stay: A Night of Simplicity
I spent one night at Arya Samaj Vashi.
- The food was simple yet soulful
- The environment was deeply spiritual
- Every interaction felt genuine
When I left…
■ People personally dropped me to the station.
That gesture still lives within me.
The Next Chapter: Change in Variables
My name was printed in the next year’s invitation - without asking me.
That was love.
But life has its own equations.
The next event was for three days.
I could commit only two.
This time…
■ They refused.
At first, it felt unexpected.
But today I understand:
When variables change… outcomes change.
No regret.
Only acceptance.
Reflection
25 years have passed.
But those two days and one night…
□ Still feel alive.
Some experiences don’t fade.
They become reference points of the soul.
Mathivation Note
In Mathivation Research:
Not every opportunity is random.
Some are Universe-aligned equations.
In Life Math:
Direction without action is incomplete.
Action without direction is blind.
In Social Math:
When intention is pure…
connections solve themselves.
Honest Question
Have you ever experienced a moment…
■ That felt too perfect to be coincidence?
Maybe…
It was not coincidence at all.
Disclaimer
This is a personal memory shared with gratitude and reflection.
Spiritual experiences are subjective and unique to individuals.
The intention is not to define truth…
■ But to share a lived experience with honesty.
Closing Thought
That call in 2001…
Was not just an invitation.
■ It was an equation.
And today I realize…
The Universe had already started writing
Life Math… through me.
Universe observes… Math reveals
