Poisonous Poison: Silent Math

Image
Poisonous Poison: The Silent Mathematics of Caste Mathivation Research Lab Initiative  Background: Mathivation Research Lab Initiative At Mathivation Research Lab , we explore human behaviour through structured observation, lived experiences, and analytical reflection. This initiative does not aim to criticize communities or traditions. Its purpose is to: Understand patterns of human conditioning Decode social imbalances through “Life Math” Present reality in a balanced, evidence-based narrative Caste, as a concept, has historical roots in division of work and identity. However, over time, its application has shifted - from functional classification to psychological separation . This chapter is an attempt to observe that shift. Case Studies (Live Examples) Case Study 1: Respect Interrupted During preparations for a mrityu bhoj , a group of teachers visited a dairy to finalize arrangements. Later, they were hosted at a relative’s house. Seating was arranged Water ...

When Music Became the Equation: A Divine Beginning (2001)

Mathivation Memory Arya Samaj Vashi  When Music Became the Equation: A Divine Beginning (2001) Mathivation Research Lab Initiative  Background: An Unexpected Call Some moments in life are not planned. They arrive… like a quiet answer to an unasked question. It was the year 2001 . I received a call from an unknown number with a simple request: ■  “Can you come and sing Bhajans for a programme?” For many, it might have been ordinary. For me… ■  It felt like a lottery of the soul . Because music was never just a passion -  ■  It was my inner language. The Event: Arya Samaj Vashi It was the 20th Annual Function of Arya Samaj, Vashi , held on: 28th April 2001 (Evening) 29th April 2001 (Morning) Later I came to know… They were searching for a Bhajanopadeshak for two days. And somehow - through unseen connections -   □  My name reached them. That “somehow” still feels like divine mathematics . The Arrival At that time, I was ...

Sunday Series Part 10: When Authority Meets Humanity

Image
Sunday Series – Part 10 Discipline, fear, forgiveness…  When Authority Meets Humanity the moment learning becomes human Opening This is not a story of punishment. It is not a lesson on discipline. It is a pause. A pause to notice how education truly happens -  not inside classrooms alone, but in moments of fear, responsibility  and unexpected compassion. Because sometimes… authority speaks loudly, but humanity whispers deeper. And students remember the whisper longer. The reality around us We often debate: strict vs friendly teachers discipline vs freedom control vs trust But real life does not work in extremes. In real situations: mistakes happen suddenly reactions are immediate responsibility becomes heavier than theory And teachers, like parents, take decisions in imperfect moments… not to dominate, but to protect. A witnessed moment from the field Years ago, during an educational adventure camp, a serious incident occurred. A st...

Sunday Series | Part 9: Students’ Edition

The Student as a Bridge Seedhi Baat – Students’ Edition Sunday Series | Part 9 The Student as a Bridge A student with curiosity and existing knowledge becomes a bridge  -  a bridge between what is known and what is yet to be understood. But this bridge works only under the guidance and supervision of qualified, experienced teachers . This is not a lecture . This is not advice . This is just a pause  - before time moves ahead. Just Pause and Reflect Why do teachers correct you when you do something inappropriate or wrong? What do they gain personally from stopping you? Why do parents feel disturbed or irritated when the school calls them? Why do they keep running around you -  worrying, questioning, protecting? Ask yourself honestly: Are they trying to make you , or break you ? Are you truly giving your 100% , or just appearing busy? Are you honest with your efforts? Are you empathetic toward your parents and teachers? The Silent Pressu...

The Cost of Blind Trust: Straight from the heart

Image
When the Roots Were Changed Deliberately Part 2: The Cost of Blind Trust What happened to me was not accidental. It was preplanned - like a distorted mathematical strategy. The one who cheated knew the nature of roots very well. He didn’t solve the equation honestly. He changed the roots diplomatically  - perhaps politically, economically, even psychologically. And like every wrong mathematical manipulation, the impact shifted unevenly . I was affected socially, economically, and emotionally. Where Did I Go Wrong? I questioned myself repeatedly. I prayed. I asked the Universe: “Where did I go wrong?” My wife, with calm wisdom, always pacified me: It is his debt upon us. Some people still believe in peace and harmony - but not everyone understands the language of honesty. This reminded me of Tulsidas ji’s timeless line: “ बिन भय प्रीति न होई गोसाईं” (Without accountability, love and respect do not sustain.) The message is as straight as mathematics itself. The Parents Saw What the F...

Trust Without Proof - Straight from the heart

The Equation Looked Perfect… Until One Variable Changed (Part 1: Trust Without Proof) A reader once messaged me with deep respect and genuine curiosity: “Sir, I respect the teaching profession more than any other profession in this world. But are all teachers pure, innocent, or spotless?” For a moment, I went silent. Not because I lacked an answer, but because my inner search engine began scanning decades of lived experiences. Teaching, for me, has never been just a profession. It is a sacred responsibility , a lifelong discipline, and a moral commitment. In my 33 years of teaching , I have witnessed brilliance, sacrifice, patience, and silent suffering. Yet, his question stirred a forgotten variable. And my silence slowly transformed into reflection. A Mathematical Dialogue In mathematics, we learn early: Constants do not change Variables depend on conditions An equation fails when one value turns dishonest Teaching is a constant. Teachers are variables. Not every variable holds the ...
