2nd Journey Towards Self-Realisation - Experiences

Part 2: A Self-Realisation Experiences

The Journey from Questions to Consciousness

In the previous part, I shared how my childhood was filled with questions that startled everyone around me — Who am I? Why am I here?

A simple potter’s answer — “You are the Sun’s son” — became the seed of my awakening.

This part takes you deeper — into the real experiences, reflections, and moments that slowly unveiled the meaning of self-realisation.

The Echo of a Potter’s Truth

After that day, everything looked different.

The potter’s words became a mantra.

I realised that life is not about living — it is about remembering.

Each pot he made was a mirror —

fragile outside, eternal within.

The Awakening Through Struggles

Life went on — education, work, marriage, responsibilities —

and those sacred questions faded under the dust of routine.

Yet sometimes, in the stillness of night,

they would whisper again: “Who am I?”

Not to disturb me, but to guide me home.

Failures became teachers, pain became mirrors.

The outer world felt like a film —

and I, both actor and observer,

slowly began to wake up.

Moments of Light

While teaching my students, I would often feel that someone unseen was teaching through me.

In those moments, my classroom became a temple,

my voice an instrument of the Universe.

During meditation or while composing music,

I sometimes felt weightlesslimitless

as if I dissolved into everything.

Those were my windows into eternity.

Understanding the Self

Self-realisation, I learned, is not an event

it is an unfolding.

The same question that once caused sleepless nights

now brings calm.

I am not just a body or a name;

I am a traveller of consciousness,

a drop of the same ocean I was seeking.

Reflection

Every person I met —

the sadhu, my brother, my wife, the potter, even the music directors

was a chapter written by the Universe

to shape my awareness.

Each one, knowingly or not,

became a guide on my inner path.

Takeaway

You don’t need to go to the Himalayas to find truth.

Pause. Listen. Feel.

The wisdom you seek is already breathing within you.

When you ask “Who am I?” sincerely,

the Universe answers — not in words,

but in silence.

From the Desk of the Author

I am still learning, still exploring, still evolving.

Self-realisation is not the end

it is the beginning of seeing life as it truly is.

If you ever find yourself questioning your existence,

celebrate it — for that is your soul awakening.

Note / Appeal

Dear readers,

in every heart there lives a seeker.

Don’t silence that gentle voice.

Let your curiosity take you inward.

You were never lost —

you were only waiting to recognise yourself.

Stay tuned for the next part —

“When the Universe Spoke Back”,

where life itself answered my deepest questions.

To Be Continued...

The journey never truly ends.

For every answer leads to a new question — and every silence opens a new doorway.

Stay connected for the next chapter —

“When the Universe Spoke Back” —

where I’ll share how life itself began responding to my inner call.
