Too much desi ghee at once isn’t good for physical or mental health, and the same applies to thoughts that are too intense to digest.

So today, I’m taking a sensitive route - a topic that touches hearts and minds alike.

Some readers mentioned my previous blogs were too deep for the common reader. The feedback was genuine, and as the Universe guided me, I felt moved to write something that connects emotionally with everyone - parents, teachers, and learners alike.


Real Incidents

Teaching is a sacred responsibility. While a teacher imparts values with knowledge, a tutor often blends strategy with delivery. A teacher teaches to awaken understanding; a tutor often teaches to sustain attention, manage time, and produce results. Both play vital roles - but their purposes differ.


Incident 1: The Grade 10 Lesson — Faith in the System

Once, during my daughter’s Grade 10, I met her homeroom teacher to ask if she might need tuitions - perhaps she was hesitant to share it with us, as coaching fees can be heavy for a middle-class family.

The teacher smiled and said,

“Sir, your daughter doesn’t need any tuitions. Every year, two of our top five students study on their own.”

That moment strengthened my belief in honest teaching and sincere effort.

With the blessings of the Universe and well-wishers, my daughter scored a perfect 100% in Mathematics in Grade 10.


Incident 2: The Grade 12 Lesson — Strength in Integrity

When she reached Grade 12, the scenario was similar.

Many of her classmates skipped lectures to attend coaching classes, but my daughter never missed a single lecture.

One day, her college Math teacher offered, very kindly, to teach her privately - without charging any fees.

She asked me, “Papa, should I join?

I asked her gently, “Do you really need it?

She smiled and replied, “No!”

Once again, by the grace of the Universe and her unwavering discipline, she scored another perfect 100% in Mathematics in Grade 12.

Those moments reminded me that faith, focus, and honesty are the most powerful tuitions, gifted not by any institution, but by the Universe itself.


Reflections

In my entire teaching journey across schools and colleges, not a single parent can say that I have ever taken an obligation or taught their child privately.

This is not pride speaking; it is gratitude - for the Universe has blessed me with the strength to walk the path of integrity in a world where shortcuts are tempting and easy.

I do understand the financial challenges teachers face today.

The reality of city life - EMIs, bills, children’s education, often compels many to take up tuitions or coaching. That’s understandable and not to be judged.

But the core question remains:

Are we teaching for income, or for impact?

Are we nurturing minds, or just managing outcomes?


Takeaways

Teaching is a mission, not a market.

Integrity is the invisible chalk that writes lessons on young minds.

Parents must trust the school system and communicate before rushing to coaching.

Learners must believe that curiosity and consistency matter more than any extra class.
