Sunday Special: The Truth

Teacher Talks:  The Truth Why Students Prefer Lenient Teachers Over Strict Ones? Human psychology is simple: People naturally gravitate towards those who make them feel good , appreciated , and comfortable . Students are no different. They immediately like teachers who are friendly, flexible, lenient, and easy in paper correction . But strict, disciplined, transparent , and firm teachers rarely become “favourites,” even if they are the ones transforming students in the long run. Why does this happen? Let’s explore. 1. Human Psychology: Appreciation Attracts If you talk in a positive, pleasing , and praising tone , people love interacting with you. But if you're honest, straightforward , and transparent , many hesitate . Truth often hurts, even when it is needed. Students similarly prefer teachers who match their wavelengths, habits, and comfort zone, even if rigor is missing. 2. Strict Teachers Are Often Misunderstood Dedicated and firm teachers sometimes become targets for a ...

जब दवाइयाँ जवाब दे जाती हैं… प्यार चमत्कार कर देता है!

 जब दवाइयाँ जवाब दे जाती हैं… प्यार चमत्कार कर देता है! (A beautifully refined final Hindi version)

Why Geometry Feels Difficult Compared to Algebra?

Image
Why Geometry Feels Difficult Compared to Algebra?  The Emotional Hook Why is Geometry the Ultimate Math Villain?  Why We Understand x + y = z, but Get Lost at the First Triangle? Why Our Brain Hates Visual Math More Than Abstract Algebra? Opening Some subjects look difficult… Some feel difficult… But Geometry is that one topic which creates a strange distance in the hearts of many learners. Despite clean diagrams and clear logic , the fear remains. Why This question has lived within me for years — and today I share my heartfelt understanding. Bright Light on the Topic I personally believe our brain stores information in two different rooms : One room holds pictures, diagrams, shapes, visual memories, The other room holds words, formulas, steps, instructions. Geometry demands both rooms to open at the same time, while Algebra mostly lives in the written room . That is why even a small distraction closes one door — and Geometry suddenly looks scary . Algebra follows ...

Resignation Part2: Is Resignation a Boon or a Curse?

Image
Resignation – Part 2 Is Resignation a Boon or a Curse? Bright Light on the Topic Resignation — even the word carries weight . It feels awkward to talk about, yet it sits silently in the hearts of thousands. For some, it arrives as pain . For others, as excitement . And for many… as a strange combination of both. Opening Life takes us through different quadrants of experiences. Some move forward smoothly with a positive slope , some struggle near the origin , some climb vertically with fear , some collapse in unpredictable quadrants, and some gracefully adjust their angle of inclination. But ultimately… every soul tries to come back to one stable truth: the line y = x  ,  where inner potential meets outer reality . Real Incidents 1. The Boon: Mr. Sharma’s Unexpected Journey A gentleman (let's call him Mr. Sharma) once came in contact with me for a job opportunity. Confident, humble, and sincere — he was convinced to join us. He informed his existing management, assuming...

Forever My First Learners: Children’s Day Message to My First School Learners

Image
Forever My First Learners Children’s Day Message to My First School Learners There are schools we work in, there are schools where we grow , and then there is that one school where we become who we truly are. For me, that school is my first workplace — the sacred ground where my teaching journey began, where I held a piece of chalk not as a tool… but as a responsibility . And the learners of that school… you were not just my first students — you were the first mirrors in which I saw myself as a teacher. On this Children’s Day, I want to speak directly to you. You were my first courage. I still remember how your innocent eyes trusted me even when I didn’t fully trust myself as a new teacher. You were my first inspiration . Your small wonders, your simple joys, your curious questions — they transformed me from an instructor to a guide, a mentor, and a lifelong learner . You were my first blessing. The purity with which you listened, the honesty with which you tried, the love with ...

MVM Stories Part2: Is Resignation from a Job — By Choice or By Force?

Image
Is Resignation from a Job — By Choice or By Force? (Part 1 of the Series) A Bright Light on the Topic Some people resign voluntarily , while others are compelled by circumstances. There are also those who remain stuck in between — confused, surviving at one place, facing both desirable and undesirable experiences. It takes immense courage to resign, because no one wishes to make hasty decisions. The thought lingers as a long-term plan, but sometimes a small emotional trigger can push someone to act instantly — without thinking of the consequences. Everyone in this world searches for a better job opportunity, yet every better job brings greater responsibility and accountability . At times, resignation seems wiser than being terminated , as legal and emotional complications can trouble both employees and employers. A Real Incident In my early teaching career, I was one of the most popular and loved teachers in the school. Yet, I ended up resigning involuntarily due to an unexpect...

5th Journey Towards Self-Realisation - The 99 Days of Silence

Image
5th Journey Towards Self-Realisation The 99 Days of Silence Opening While teaching in the classroom one morning, a student suddenly said, “ I don’t like Math.” Her voice carried anger, resistance, and dissatisfaction — as if the subject had wronged her. I smiled gently and asked, “ Do you think Math likes you?” She paused, surprised. “ I don’t know ,” she whispered. I continued,   “If Math likes you and you don’t like it, it makes some sense. But if both of you don’t like each other, it doesn’t make any sense — there’s no fun in moving ahead. You can’t skip Math, so why create complications with it? Start liking it. Believe me, it’ll like you more than you expect.” That one line changed everything. She smiled, tried sincerely for a week, and her performance began to rise. Her marks improved — but more importantly, her attitude transformed. Examples or Incidents Sometimes, getting good marks in Math becomes harder because learners start expecting success without building a connecti...
